This week, each class will be taking part in our annual welly walk to raise money for Farm Africa. We were blessed with beautiful autumn sunshine this morning for our first walk of the the week.

After a steady stroll through the woodland, we stopped for a snack before taking advantage of the abundance of autumn leaves to create our wonderful crowns.
Crown making is thirsty work, so before heading back to school, we had a warming cup of chocolate milk. There was just time to squeeze in a game of hide and seek before heading back (not forgetting a little stop off to feed the apple cores we had saved from our snack to the eagerly awaiting horses).
Fingers crossed for continued good weather for the rest of the week. However should the rain fall, we will have our wellies at the ready and count our blessings that our climate allows our farmers to keep their crops healthy and well watered.
