A look back at the Autumn Term at Forest School

Almost 90 Forest School Sessions have taken place this term in sunshine, fog, wind and rain (but mostly rain!) with 65 children taking part each week and more than 270 miles walked!

The children have taken part in a whole range of experiences including:

Puddle splashing, leaf art, tree climbing, hunting for treasure, wide games slacklining, fire lighting, marshmallow toasting, berry painting, feeding the horses, making bird feeders, hill rolling, bug hunting, den building, kazoo making, den building, music making, shape spotting, nature murals, rope bridges, rope swings, fungi spotting, Nordic braiding, mudsliding, bird watching, foraging, Christmas crafting, circle games, animal tracking, sharing stories, pebble games, hammock swinging, coppicing, balsam bashing...

....phew we have been busy!

Next term, new groups of children will be exploring the wonder of the woodland.
