Waffley Frosty Day

It was a chilly start for Beech group this morning, so we were looking forward to lighting our campfire. Mayeda had kindly brought in some delicious strawberry marshmallows for us to toast and we also had waffles and hot chocolate to give us plenty of energy and keep us warm.

Three children from Reception class joined Beech group in the woods and the older children helped them to safely toast their marshmallows and waffles. After extinguishing the fire, the older children decided to teach the younger ones some of their favourite woodland games including hide and seek and head honcho.
